Terms of Service - Mindful Machines

These terms govern your use of mindfulmachines.ai, the Mindful Machines newsletter, and related services (together, the “service”), operated by Mindful Studios LLC (“Mindful Machines”, “we”, “us”). By using the service you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

The service

Mindful Machines publishes videos, articles, and a newsletter about artificial intelligence, and offers a research uplink that lets you connect AI assistants to our published research via the Model Context Protocol (MCP). The service is provided for informational purposes; nothing on this site is professional, legal, or financial advice.

Subscribing to the newsletter is free. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link included in every email. We may discontinue or change the newsletter at any time.

Accounts and MCP access

Some features require signing in with a Google account. You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account, including actions taken by AI clients you authorize through the MCP uplink. We may revoke access tokens or suspend accounts that misuse the service.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

Use the service in a way that violates any applicable law or regulation.
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the service, its infrastructure, or other users' accounts.
Interfere with or disrupt the service, including by scraping at abusive rates or introducing malicious code.

Intellectual property

The content we publish — videos, articles, newsletters, research notes, and site design — belongs to Mindful Studios LLC unless otherwise noted. YouTube videos embedded on or linked from the service belong to their respective owners and are subject to the YouTube Terms of Service.

Disclaimer of warranties

The service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that its content is accurate or complete.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Mindful Studios LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the service.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the service at any time if you violate these terms or misuse the service. You can stop using the service, or ask us to delete your account, at any time.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Louisiana, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from these terms or the service shall be brought in the state or federal courts located in Louisiana, and you consent to their jurisdiction.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in the “last updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of the service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
