Privacy Policy

Mindful Studios LLC (“we”, “us”) operates the Mindful Machines YouTube channel, mindfulmachines.ai, and the Mindful Machines newsletter. This policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and what we do with it.

The short version: we collect as little as possible, we don't sell any of it, and you can ask us to delete it at any time.

Information we collect

• Newsletter subscription. When you subscribe, we collect your email address and, if you provide it, your first name. They are stored with our email delivery provider and used only to send you the newsletter. If you arrive at the signup form from a link in one of our YouTube videos, we also record which video referred you so we know where subscribers come from.
• Account sign-in. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture from your Google account, and we store the sign-in tokens Google issues. We use this only to create and manage your account.
• Sessions. When you are signed in, we record the IP address and browser user agent associated with your session. This helps keep your account secure.
• Analytics. We use a privacy-focused, cookie-less analytics service to understand aggregate site traffic. It does not collect personal information, does not use cookies, and does not track you across other sites.

Connecting AI assistants

Signing in lets you connect AI assistants to our research uplink using the Model Context Protocol (MCP). When you authorize an AI client, we store the access tokens we issue to it and a record of your consent and the permissions you granted. The tools exposed to connected clients only read research content we publish — they do not access your personal information. You can revoke a client's access at any time, or ask us to delete these records entirely.

Embedded content

Some pages embed YouTube videos. When you view or play an embedded video, YouTube (Google) may set cookies and collect data as described in the Google Privacy Policy. We do not control that collection.

How we use your information

• To send you the newsletter you subscribed to.
• To operate, maintain, and improve the site.
• To respond when you contact us.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share it only with the service providers who help us run the site — email delivery, database hosting, site hosting, Google (sign-in), and analytics — and only to the extent needed to provide those services.

Unsubscribing and data deletion

Every newsletter includes an unsubscribe link; unsubscribing stops all future emails immediately. You can ask us to delete your email address, your account, or any other personal information we hold about you at any time — just write to support@mindfulmachines.ai.

Data retention and security

We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described above. Data is transmitted over encrypted connections and stored with reputable infrastructure providers.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in the “last updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
